My mother wore Colonel Norman Green on her wrist throughout high school. I found the bracelet in her room when I was starting high school and I wore it throughout high school. I wouldn't even take it off for dances. I always wondered what he looked like, so I could put a face with the name. He too is also my hero!

I've just received a MIA bracelet from a special friend who lives in the US. The history of this man caused me a very significant feeling of a real human hero. As a military jet figther pilot, I'm really proud of wearing his name in my hand, the same hand that controls my aircraft, every time I use the air power in order to bring peace to my country.

A Note from The Virtual WallOn 09 Jan 1968 F-4D tail number 66-8729 from the 497th Tac Fighter Squadron at Ubon RTAFB was shot down near Bay Kapay in Laos, about 20 miles west of the Demilitarized Zone. There was no evidence suggesting that either crewman ejected before ground impact, but both men was classed as Missing in Action.
