He was a doctor's son ... he could have taken the easy way out but instead chose to serve our country with honor and dignity. He was my wrestling partner in high school, I never could beat him! A quiet guy, an accomplished writer in his own way. Now, forever young, buried in his hometown, Jamestown N.D. May God give you eternal peace and rest.

Ben Tre City, about 12 kilometers south of My Tho, was captured by the VC at the outbreak of the Tet Offensive. Bravo Company, 2/60 Infantry, was directed to recapture the city.
